Your results—or lack of them—come from what you practice daily. Whether it’s your mindset, nutrition, or training, everything impacts how you feel, how you show up, and ultimately how you live your life. Think about it: the house you live in—your body—goes everywhere with you. How well do you practice getting to know it, taking care of it? What about loving it?
How is your relationship with your body? How is your inner dialogue? We either practice getting better at these or neglect them. And when we neglect them, we feel it—low energy, anxiety, sadness, defeat, and depletion.
So how do we get better at taking care of and loving ourselves since we are with ourselves 100% of the time? We practice. We practice by setting ourselves up for success the night before—getting good sleep and preparing for the next day. Then, we start our mornings with gratitude, positive affirmations, and setting goals for the day. We fuel our bodies with balanced meals, have healthy snacks ready to grab and go, and move our bodies. We get outside, call a friend, or have a meaningful conversation with ourselves through journaling.
All of this comes down to daily practice—showing up each day and trying to be 1% better than yesterday. That’s it!
