Have protein immediately after a workout helps to repair the muscle tissue you just tore.
Another tip on protein ➡️ have it before you eat anything sweet or high carb, this will slow the insulin response and stop those blood sugar spikes, it will also keep you fuller and satisfied longer.
Remember protein is one of your major macronutrients and is important for building and repairing.
Aim for 1g per pound of lean body weight a day.
EXAMPLE:
150 lbs = 150grams protein a day
