Short-term gain leads to long-term pain.
Anything instant only gives a short-term high before it leads to a long-term low.
Dont buy into quick fixes, instant gratification or momentary relief. It only leads to long-term pain, disappointment and habits that are hard to break.
I m reading a book called “NO EXCUSES” by Brian Tracy, and I want to share this part as it has so much wisdom.
“Every practice of self-discipline STRENGTHENS every other discipline. Unfortunately, every weakness in discipline weakens every other discipline as well.”
To develop the habit of discipline, you must first make a firm decision of how you will behave in an area of activity.

Gah this hit me. “every weakness in discipline weakens every other discipline as well.” it’s gone on much too long and is such a domino effect.
I need to do this better
Hit me hard. Working on the discipline with the mind and it’s amazing where it can take you if you don’t focus on what’s important and true. Focus on the positive and get rid of the negative . One step at a time
