Are you consistently going to the gym and being diligent in the kitchen with nutrition but not really seeing or feeling any changes?
Sleep could be a reason why!
Are you prioritizing at least 7 hours a night for sleep? If not, then we have a little read for you to educate yourself on why sleep is very crucial to one’s fat loss journey also, more importantly, your mental health!
Research shows that decreasing your sleep from 7-9 hours a night to 5-6 hours per night can damage your fat loss in as little as 2 weeks.
When your sleeping, this is when your body repairs the muscles you’ve torn in the gym. If your body is not getting the sleep it needs your muscle strength can be affected also leaving you with very little energy for the next day’s gym session.
Cravings… yes, those pesky cravings! Even one sleepless night can change the level of the hunger & appetite hormone, leading to increased hunger.
Dont stress too much about a simple night of bad sleep, it can happen but learning how to prepare your body for a night full of rest is crucial!
