This is one of the biggest myths I find women & men fall for, is thinking when they start a program that they will lose 5-10 lbs of fat in a week.
If you lose 5-10lbs in a week maybe 2lbs if that is pure fat the rest is water and lean muscle mass.
I’m constantly reminding the FCB that muscle is important, the more muscle you have the higher your resting metabolic rate will be.
Your muscle is like the pac man for your fat!
The less muscle you have the lower your resting metabolic rate will be. That said we all have different genetics and food affects us all differently based on body type, age, gender, genetics, activity level and muscle mass.
Remember slow and steady wins the race. A little bit each week will add up to a lot without doing any damage and having rebounds.
You want to aim for lasting results, focus on your progress in your workouts and quality nutrition the rest will take care of its self.
If you are good to your body it will be good to you back.
🏋🏼Track your workouts and focus on weight in the gym and not on the scale.
🍏Eat foods that fuel your workouts and replenish your muscle, energy and hormones.
😴Try and get at least 7 hours of sleep
💦 Drink water
🧠MOST IMPORTANTLY WORK ON YOUR MINDSET DAILY
There is so much freedom when you understand and learn the right way and the truth. The better your result will be and the less you are pulled into diet culture.

I love this thank you I have to remember this 💕
So important to remember this!!!!
I needed this! I have been having the hardest time to even lose a few pounds! And I’ve been consistently working out way more than before and really trying to eat healthy.
Just recently have been noticing slight changes so just need to stick with it!! 💪It took me an entire 18 months to gain and might take the same time to get back better than ever!
Thank you i needed this reminder this week ❤️
This is such a good visual! I used to fall for those quick fix promises of losing 10 lbs in a week, etc. wow! The last thing I want to lose us that hard fought for muscle! It’s like money in the bank. Getting my mindset right on that issue has helped me so much to chill out about the scale. For me, that’s huge!
